Once upon a time in the land of Makeup and wardrobe a beautiful damsel was in distress, she had searched high and low for the most vibrant and beautiful colours for her evening ball and was just nothing that was befitting of her beauty.
Just as she was about to give in to her misfortune, in a cloud of TW04 glorious BlackUp Cosmetics powder she appeared, beauty godmother Lisa Moonlight. She waved her brush once, twice uttering “Powders and puffs, it’s never enough! Now you’re in luck for Lisa and Black-Up are here so cheer up!” and at the third wave, the magic had begun….
We used correcting primer for a matte look and TCOR 02 orange concealer to conceal blemishes, patting it down with a wedge for easier foundation application.
Using an HC09 cream foundation, we ensured full-coverage using a round brush as well for a blended and smooth look.
In order to create the desired face shape we used a contour stick, highlighting under her eye down to the cheekbone, ridge of the nose, chin and forehead to bring prominence. We contoured on the sides of her nose, below the cheekbones, jawline and forehead to reduce their appearance for a more slimming effect.
Next we filled in her brows using a brown pencil for a natural look, highlighting the brows with a combination of HC05 and HC09 for a cleaner brow line. A disposable mascara wand was also used to brush out the brows for a seamless and natural finish, we then powdered the rest of her face using TW04 powder.
For the eyes we used we used concealer as a primer and NBL06 and NBL03 on the crease. On the eyelids we used NBL02, NBL06 and a yellow Pearl powder. We used liquid liner in black to line the top of her eyelid, KS10 blue liner for her lower-lid and black mascara for longer and more visible lashes.
38M lips later…A few more sprinkles of dust, a twist and twirl and she was more than a girl but the belle of the ball!
