Drake’s father 60 year old Dennis Graham has decided to formally start his musical career following his son’s footsteps by releasing his first single, ‘Kinda Crazy‘ later this month.  29-year- old rapper son  has put his stamp of approval to the track according to an American gossip website, Dennis worked with producer and Apple executive Jamie Iovine on the song and his upcoming album, which the date of release has not yet been revealed.

Drake is very familiar with Jamie as he is the one responsible for releasing the artist’s fourth studio album “Views”exclusively on to Apple Music streaming service earlier this year.

You may think Dennis is only stepping into the music scene now, but he has been in the music business for quite some time. He worked as a drummer performing alongside country musician Jerry Lee Lewis.

Interestingly, the legendary Larry Graham is Dennis’ brother, making him drake’s uncle. Dennis used to take Drake to the famous Royal Studios, where the likes of Al Green recorded, when he was younger.

So, is it Drake that inspired his father into becoming an artist or the other way around? hmmmm…music runs in this family. This just proves to us, it’s never too late to begin again.

The wait for the single beings…now!
