#theSOCIAL 5th of July 2016

It’s brand new and invading your screens right now! Ladies and Gents, boys and girls prepare to be socialized as we give you the low-down, bringing you the hottest news daily!!!

Which kind ting be this!!! Hehehehe so! Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, better known as ‘Wale’ has reacted to Genius, a music lyrics website, tweeting that Wizkid was the first the first Nigerian to appear on the Billboard Chart. Now when our guy Wale saw this he responded with a thinking emoji but he certainly wasn’t ready for what was coming his way! Twitter Naija all of a sudden went crazy rejecting his Naija Pass and were quick to remind him that he wasn’t a Nigerian born artist and as such should not start claiming the country.

HeeH!!!! Is this not the same Wale that Nigerians are proud to claim every time he does big things!? Has he ever denied being Nigerian?

We’re not exactly sure what to think of the value of marriage these but we think it would be safe to say that Jhene Aiko probably ain’t married to a Naija boy no more! In March this year she and her husband Oladipo Omishore confirmed their marriage, posting a wedding pic as well as exchanging loving messages on Jhene’s birthday, however she’s been spotted cosying up to rapper Big Sean lately. It would seem that this would just be publicity for their album Twenty88 but After sharing a passionate kiss at yesterday’s American Independence day concert, it’s starting to look way more than any Naija man could handle oo! This wouldn’t be the first time however as a month ago this video surfaced! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtuFRSNNZcY

Dipo our friend, if this truly na your wife, shine your eyes oo!!!!

Actress Kate Henshaw after raising hell over her name and image being used to promote comedian Akpororo’s upcoming show, has decided to bury the hatchet and is said to be hosting the show! According to Punch, the actress, speaking through her manager, Funke Kuti stated that all was forgiven and that she would be at his show to support him, but we’re pretty sure he will NEVER forget the shame she rained on him!

We attended Comedy Central Africa’s roast battle and there was no chill to be found! We were treated to sharp, crass and absolutely hilarious jokes and punchlines!
